Norman went home to our Savior on December 3, 2011 at the age of 80 in Phoenix, AZ. He was born on March 4, 1931 to William and Delma Irvin in Checotah, OK. Norman was preceded in death by his wife Bobbye Jo and his brother Harold J. Irvin. Norman is survived by his son Dennis. Norman was a Marine veteran of the Korean War. In May 1955 he married Bobbye Jo and started his career as a Phoenix Police Officer. He retired in 1985 with the rank of Lieutenant. His love of playing Bluegrass and Gospel music will always been remembered. Norman was a great husband, father, and friend. He will be missed by those who were a part of his life.
