I'm Bernard's cousin, and lost track of him for many years until I started wintering in AZ.  I enjoyed our visits, with the Phoenix tours and the good food, good conversations and good company.  I'll miss you.  My prayers go out to Dee for this loss, and for her quick recovery.

   You may not remember, but we met when Bernie's cousin Donna Jean (Sworthwood) and her husband Lavere Kingsbury came to visit from Michigan, many years ago.
   Our daughters Kari and Mary formed a friendship spending time together.

Bernie you were my go to guy for real estate advice, and a good fellow Lion.  Even though I haven't been to your home for a few years I did enjoy our brief visit at Sprouts last year.  I am sorry I will not be able to look forward to any more good times with the Cainman.

Knew Bernie many years in church, Lions Club, and PV Community  
activities. He was a great guy and it was a pleasure knowing him. He helped us sell and buy our current home. Our address plaque given by Bernie always reminds us of him. Our thoughts go out to his wife and family. God Bless!

I will remember Bernard as a role model, a cousin I could talk to and call my friend.  Grandpa Cain is looking down on our generation, I think Bernard is the15th to join him in heaven, and smiling.  No doubt Uncle Norman and Aunt Dorothy are as well.   We all have to look forward to our turn, and I hope we will all be as fortunate as Bernard was, to have a loving family by our side, and a long life, lived well.  Rest in peace my friend.  I pray for a quick and complete recovery for Dee.

Sharon & I never met Bernie, but we feel as though we know him anyway through his daughter, Melanie. Melanie married my (Mark) brother (Brent) and that is how we have gotten to know her. She is loving, caring and very sweet-natured. People love being aroung her. Her wonderful personality speaks loudly of how she was raised and the love that must have existed in her home. Bernie has left a wonderful legacy in his children. "When we all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be."

I'll always remember Bernie as happy, smiling, sharing. When I was a kid, Bernie was the cousin who (being a few years older) knew what life was about. From Owosso, to Perry, to St. Johns and finally Phoenix he will be remembered.

I remember when they all lived in Michigan and we would get together with Bernard and Dee and his sister and all the kids.  I remember Bernard made his final trip to Michigan when my dad died. Norman, Bernie Cain as I new him, was truely my friend. We became friends when I ask him for his daughters hand in marriage in Dec. of 2010. Bernie always reminded me of the late George Burns, always full of guff, his big smile when caught off guard,a true sales man type of humor. My Dad was always an extremely hard working man. He was also very dedicated; dedicated to work, to family, his dogs, and to God. He will be missed dearly by all that knew him. My dad was always working for his clients. I was lucky enough to be his assistant in his real estate business off and on for quite a few years. Over the last several years when he was in the hospital we would design his newsletters and view his listings on his laptop. A dedicated man.

Losing a father is one of the deepest sorrows a heart can know. God has provided us good memories of our dad.
He will be missed by many. We will go on and forever hold him in our heart.
