Nathan Jensen, of Phoenix Arizona, passed away unexpectedly on September 13, 2023 at the age of 58. He was born June 5, 1965 to Nancy Jensen. At the age of 12 he began working at Great Western Carnival where the Leavitt's became like a second family to him. He continued working at GWC while attending Central High School and into college. It was through the carnival that he met the love of his life, Michelle Hoss.
Nathan and Michelle were married on January 27, 1989. Together they welcomed 6 children, 5 grandchildren, and started their own carnival company. Their company provided many fun times, lessons, and hard work for the family.
Nathan was a true mans' man - an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed sharing these moments with his family. Anything from boating and fishing to being in the desert riding ATV's and exercising his 2nd Amendment rights through target practice. A truly caring man, Nathan was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was mechanically gifted and often used his skills for the benefit of others whenever possible. He would choose to repair something over buying a new one. He valued hard work, honesty, and the value of a man's word. His passing left an unfillable gap in the hearts of his loved one's. His ability to encourage, provide, support, and love will be forever ingrained in all he knew.
Nathan was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his wife of 34 years, Michelle. Son Jordan, daughter Harley and her husband Ian Tarrant and their daughters Kinsley & Hadley, son Jerrett and his wife Megan and their daughters Aubree & Remi, son Hunter and his son Austin, son Jayton and his wife Emily, son Hayden. His sisters: Cheryl (JR) Hall, and Vanessa Lynn Sullivan-Hyler.
We find peace in knowing he is watching over us from Heaven.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at Greenwood Memory Lawn's Serenity Chapel, 719 N. 27th Ave. Phoenix at 2 PM.
