Monica Rose Wallin

Monica Rose Wallin, 52, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away December 10, 2014. She was born in Tempe, Arizona on June 4, 1962 to Richard P. and Gay (Nichols) Ziegman. She graduated from Gerard Catholic High School in Phoenix, AZ, and attended Mesa Community College in Mesa, AZ. Monica married James J. Wallin in 1999. She was lovingly devoted to her husband and children, with her family being the focus of her world. Dedicating herself to her children and husband, she volunteered for various community activities, assisted her husband in their family business, and was employed by the Kyrene School District. Monica is survived by her husband, James, daughters, Cassidy and Caitlyn Wallin, Danielle (Buccella) Sester, son, Tory Buccella, and three grandchildren. Also surviving are her brothers and sisters, Steven Ziegman, Ann Peltier, Edward Ziegman, Stephen Martin, Rebecca Todd, John Martin, Richard Martin, Jeannie Basheda, Nancy Koontz, Dianne Meier, Richard Ziegman, and Robert Martin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Gay, and her step-mother, Mary M. Ziegman. Monica is greatly missed and has left a void in all of our hearts. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 16, 2014, 7 PM at Carr-Tenney Mortuary 2621 S. Rural Road, Tempe, AZ. Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 17, 2014, 11 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church 2121 S. Rural Road, Tempe.
