A loyal softball player and devoted father. Michael “Shark” Wayne Ayo Sr. died at the age of 65 after a battle with kidney failure and cancer. He was an all-star on the baseball field but most of all he loved his kids. His three children, Michael Ayo Jr., Angela Ayo and Adam Ayo always enjoyed their dad's passion for sports and winning of course. In addition to baseball and his kids, he loved his friends. Shark passed on May 5, 2017. He touched so many lives. We will always celebrate and remember his impact on our lives every Cinco de M-Ayo. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held 12:00pm, Saturday, June 10, 2017 in the Chapel at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary, 719 N. 27th Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona 85009 followed by a Memorial Service at 1:00pm.
