As a toddler her family moved to Colville, Washington where she attended school. She enjoyed many activites. She was the catcher on a modified softball team and bowled in many ladies leagues.
With her young girls she was a Brownie and Girl Scout leader. As the noon time supervisor at Hofstetter school, you would see her sledding and playing with all of the kids.
After her children had all graduated she moved to Phoenix. Her new home had a great pool in the backyard where she taught many children to swim. In her spare time she loved to go camping, genealogy, and traveling north to spend time with her family.
She worked at Pinewood nursing home, as a Police Matron, an EMT, and was also an ambulance driver for Stevens County. After moving to Phoenix, she was employed by Del Webb/Banner Boswell Hospital where she retired in 2000.
