Manuel Otero was born April 11, 1947, to Adela G. Otero and Manual Otero Sr. Manuel was the oldest of fourteen children and is survived by five siblings: Danny, Linda, Frances, Debbie and Annette Otero. He leaves behind five children: Christopher, Micky, Ronnie, Manny, and Luis Otero to cherish his sweet memories. He was a grandfather to twenty two grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren which he absolutely loved dearly.
Manuel lost his hearing at the age of 3 However, he never allowed that to affect him from accomplishing anything in his life. He attended school, raised his children, and worked a full-time job. He was an extremely strong, devoted, hardworking man and anything he put his mind to he dedicated his whole heart. He retired from Honeywell Aerospace after 23+ years and did not want to stop there. Manuel’s attributes were many; from his outrageous sense of humor to his selfless heart and his love for food and traveling. He was a very outgoing and adventurous man in his day. He enjoyed surrounding himself with family and loved ones, took advantage of any moment to snap a photo and shared many, many laughs. He loved attending events, loved and the Native American culture and outings together with his family, such as camping, fairs, carnivals, and any festival you could think of. He loved Rawhide, Pow wows, water parks, the Mexico and California beaches and all sporting events. Basically, HE LOVED SPORTS, and the list could go on. When it came to traveling and showing his loved ones a good time, he was there for it 100%.
As we all know Manuel's sweet presence would light up the room with his smile and loving spirit but more importantly, he was a man of God who loved and welcomed anyone who came in his path. Manual was the sweetest loving humble man anyone could meet, always wanting to treat or help anyone he loved or cared for! He will be missed dearly by his friends and family, but as he said, he is now with his partner in crime, his mother Adela dancing on streets of gold, and someday we will all meet again. But until that time, we will hold him in our hearts and will keep his memories alive.
I LOVE YOU FOREVER!
