Loretta Cathleen Styma

Loretta will be missed by many. She was born Loretta Kirkwood in 1955. She was the third of nine siblings. She grew up in Villa Park, Illinois. She had training as a licensed practical nurse and a cosmetologist. Loretta met her husband to be roller skating in Elmhurst, Illinois. She married her husband Robert Styma in 1980 and despite being told that she could never have children due to a birth defect the lord blessed her with two children. She worked as a hairdresser for many years. She loved roller skating and square dancing. She was proud to be a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Her generosity truly had no bounds as she contributed to many different charities and spent her spare time serving her community through her work at Saint Vincent De Paul. She is survived by her husband Robert and her children Catherine and Joseph. Her surviving siblings are Richard, Marie, Tom, Joe, Patricia, and Ron. She is preceded by Nancy and Al.

A visitation for Loretta will be held Monday, May 6, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a 7pm Rosary at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 East Greenway Road, Phoenix, AZ 85022.

A Catholic Mass will occur Tuesday, May 7, 2024 from 10:00 AM at Saint Jerome Catholic Church, 10815 N 35th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85029.

Graveside services to follow Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Saint Francis Catholic Cemetery, 2033 N 48th St, Phoenix, AZ 85008.
