Lorena Maria Munoz

Lorena Munoz, 64, went to be with her Lord on Dec 13th 2013 with her loving family at her side. Lorena was born on April 11th, 1949 in Phoenix, Arizona. She is survived by her devoted husband Richard Munoz of 42 years, her daughter Michelle Ortiz, her son Ricky Munoz, her mother Ruth Barrey, and siblings; Richard Barrey and wife Jovie; Sophia Bernal and husband Joe; Diana Everitt and husband Tom; Joe Barrey and wife Frances; Jeanette Williams and husband Dale; Valerie Barrey; Frank Barrey and wife Sonya; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and a large extended family of friends. Lorena was preceded in death by her father Pete Barrey and her grandparents.

Lorena worked for the Department of Education for many years. She also was employed by Allied Signal prior to retirement. Lorena enjoyed many vacations with her loving husband and family. Lorena was a very loving and giving wife and cherished her children. Lorena was a very strong woman and struggled with a long battle of illness for over 25 years. She will always be remembered and will be in our hearts and memories, she will be truly missed.
