We have shared some amazing times together and ones that will never be forgotten.  From the time I was a little girl I have always admired and loved you so much.  I can remember as a child how excited I would be for the holidays because the look on your face was always priceless.  You would smile from ear to ear and those memories will be everlasting.  The joy that you had in your heart knowing that you would be seeing a lot of the family on those days spilled over into your expression.  As I grew older you taught me certain traditions and we created some of our own.  
I had one of the greatest childhoods and it was because of you.  We shared numerous vacations whether it be fishing, camping or going to California during the summers.  There were times throughout middle school and high school that you would call me in sick so we could go to lunch and do some shopping.   I am not too sure how you could tolerate how crazy our household would get and always running us here and there but you always did it with a smile on your face.  Throughout your life you always worked so hard yet, you always had time for us to be together. 
As I became older you were always there for me to help guide the way.  You helped me immensely with my children always caring for them while I was off working.  You and Dad were like their parents and without your help I would never have been able to manage.  You taught my children more than I ever could just by simply being you.  Without the kindness, love and being such a huge part of their lives they would not be the people they are today.  You always showed them the way and gave them a helping hand in whatever it was.
You were game for anything and had such a spur of the moment attitude.  We would decide to make trips up to the lake in a blink of an eye and spend hours up there just sitting on the shore and talking.  When we talked about moving to Texas you had no hesitation.  We packed up our entire house and moved 1200 miles away.  We would make our Friday night trips 40 miles away just to grab a bite to eat.  We had a lot of great times there and it gave us time to regroup.  I know you did not look back with regret only to realize that we would return back to Arizona 7 months later.  As I have said you were game for anything just as long as we were together.
For the longest time I always blamed dad for my fiery temper but after we moved back from Texas, the cat was out of the bag.  After all the stories that we talked about the light bulb finally went off and I began to realize more and more where I got it from.  We were out shopping one day and there was a lady who was not paying attention and you decided to hit her cart with yours just to get her out of the way.  I think I was so shocked you did that and about 15 feet later we looked at each other and just laughed.  I know you loved to pick Mark up from school just to defy the instructions and not move your car up when the principal asked.
We took a trip to California back in 2012 for Christmas and what a willing participate you were to ride the rides with the kids and I.  You braved Splash Mountain and might I say what a fantastic picture you took.  We braved Space Mountain and that would have been even a better picture if we could have gotten off the ride in time to get it but considering we had to collect our bearings, it was no wonder why.  There you were riding a crazy ride like that at 79 years old yet again just for us to be together.
You were an unselfish person and went along with things just to spend time together with your family.  I will never be able to express my gratitude to you for being so giving of your time.  There are so many fond memories and great things that we have shared.  During your lifetime you were such a dedicated daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and dear friend.  You have always been the best and have taught all of us to look up to you with such admiration and respect.
The day you passed I was absolutely heartbroken.  We had a difficult evening and it carried into the early morning hours.  I laid there just watching your face and praying for God to please take you.  I did not want to see you in any pain.  That was the most difficult moment because I did not want to let you go and maybe selfish on my part but I knew that I would be lost without you.  I will forever have a missing piece of my heart because I loved you so much.  The day you passed, I lost my best friend, my confidant but most of all, my mom.        
I love your dearly mom and you have truly been one of the greatest gifts I could have ever been given.  It has been not only my honor but an absolute privilege to be your daughter.
