Leah May Beasley, age 81, formerly of Millford Mills, Maryland, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2022, in Surprise, Arizona. She was born on January 31, 1940 in Baltimore, Maryland, the daughter of Maurice and Lillian Ensor.
Leah’s family and friends will greatly miss her loving nature. She was fiercely loyal, sharp, and insightful. She was quick with a helping hand and calming words for those in need.
Leah retired from her career as Office Manager at the City of Glendale Parks and Recreation, to care for Jack in his final months. She never dated after Jack’s passing, preferring to devote her time to the family property in Glendale, helping to raise her grandchildren, and developing a deep, abiding friendship with her granddaughter, Julia and her devoted pooch, Chocolate.
Leah is survived by her eldest son, Jack Jr. (Rosana); her son, David; her daughter, Bonnie (Aaron). Her grandchildren and step-grandchildren include: Tate, Amanda, JR, Tyler, Kai, Mela, Presley, Julia, and Erich. Leah was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Jack, who passed in 2004.
All rejoice in her joining her granddaughter, Lauren and husband Jack in Heaven.
