I just learned of this and want to express my deepest sympathies to the Young family for such a loss.  Larry was a wonderful man, dedicated to his family, his God and his work.  I worked with Larry a few years ago at FLP and will always remember his steadfast faith and how he gently shared that in his everyday life.  May God's peace pour into your hearts and souls.

To the Young family. I remember Larry as one of the best people I have ev known. We were friends and although he was younger than me, he taught me how to be a loyal and honest friend. Katherine and children - Larry's reputation as a devout Catholic, husband and father reached beyond the metro Phoenix area.  Tender thoughts for you all.  Your family brought comfort to ours when our daughter died in February.  Now - please accept our humble prayers for your peace.

Katie, words fail me. I remember the courting days when Fr. Doran asked you 2 to be an example to the younger. You both were such shining examples. I remember your glowing cheeks and his bashful bowed head. You were to be forever "Young". God had something special planned for Larry, especially when He chose you for Larry's bride. Sadly to those of us on earth He has moved Larry on to finish His special plan. As you lead your small army of "little Larrys" toward the Light of God, remember Larry still commands and loves his army from above. I grieve for you, but I try to understand God knows best. Say the word & I will be at your side.

I do not know If you remember me, but I came to nanny for you in the summer of 2003. I remember your husband as a kind man and a loving husband and father.
