LaTrisse Woods Kuzinski of Litchfield Park, AZ passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at the age of 53. LaTrisse was born on May 6, 1969 in Queens, New York. Her family later moved to Central Islip, New York where she grew up a happy and loving young lady.
After graduating from St. John the Baptist High School in West Islip, New York in 1987 , she attended Howard University in Washington,D.C. There, she graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration in May, 1991. She furthered her education by graduating from the Jacob Fuchsberg Law Center at Touro University in New York with a Juris Doctorate degree in 1996.
While in New York, LaTrisse enjoyed helping others and worked in the Human Resources department of the Suffolk County Girls Scouts of New York on Long Island. Later, after moving to Arizona with her parents, her analytical capability and communication skills enabled her to be employed by the Tech Group Phoenix as a Manager of Human Resources in 1998. From that position, she moved on to various Human Resources positions with the City of Glendale Office of Arizona.
LaTrisse enjoyed spending time with her beloved family and traveling to overseas destinations with her husband and children. She also enjoyed painting with her children as well. She was actively involved in all aspects of her children's activities including soccer, school band, and producing parental videos/DVDs of school events. In all facets of her sons' lives, she prioritized their happiness above all else. She was extremely proud of their accomplishments.
Above all, LaTrisse was a loving mother of two sons, Marek and Jacek and a devoted wife to Christopher, her husband. She steadily provided care for her children during Christopher's overseas deployments for military duty.
LaTrisse is survived by her immediate family consisting of her parents, Jack and Frances Woods, husband, Christopher, sons Marek and Jacek, sister-in-law Faith, her husband, Rob Wagner,and their three children, brother-in-law, Mark Kuzinski and his wife, Megan and their three children.
A special thanks to Rita Ybarra, the boys' Godmother, for the care, compassion and support given to LaTrisse and the family during these difficult times.
Visitation with the family will begin at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary 200 W Beardsley Road Phoenix, AZ from 4pm to 8pm on Tuesday, December 6, 2022. Service will be held at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at 11am.
Interment will commence at the National Cemetery of Arizona at 12 Noon. It will be followed by a Reception back at the Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary.
