Katrina was born on November 16th, 1998, in Flagstaff, Arizona, the daughter of JoAnn Sue Biehn and Gerald Karl Misner. As a born native, she called Arizona home for most of her life.
She recently obtained her Bachelor’s degree from NAU in psychology with a minor in forensics. She had planned to begin her career at Victim Witness Services for Northern Arizona as a Victims Advocate. Katrina will be missed by all her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd E. Biehn and Mr. Gerald D. Misner, and her uncle, Erik Misner and brother, Jacob K. Wiley. She is survived by her grandmother, Elvira Misner, her parents, JoAnn Sue Biehn and Gerald Karl Misner, her aunts, Claudia Misner and Leigh Bondrole, and her sister, Casandra Misner.
As someone who loved adventures, stories, and hanging out with friends, she became actively involved in a Dungeons and Dragons group at NAU. She had an open heart and quickly became attached to cats in need. She had a passion for music and greatly enjoyed outdoor concerts.
Arrangements entrusted to Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary, 200 West Beardsley Road, Phoenix, AZ 85027. A public viewing will be held on Friday, December 27th, from 2-4 p.m. A service will be held on Monday, December 30th, at 1 p.m. Seating for the service will be limited, however, overflow seating will be available. Casual dress requested for those attending please.
