Judy Marie Cochran, age 79, of Phoenix, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2020 in Phoenix, Arizona. She was born on April 26, 1941 to the late Norman Everett and Ruth Muriel (Vogler) Long in Worland, WY. As a child she lived in Wyoming and Montana before moving to Phoenix in 1953. She attended Camelback High School, graduating class of 1959. On December 28, 1985, she married Robert Cochran in Phoenix. Judy worked at Apache Honda Motorcycles for over 40 years. She was a member of Chaparral Christian Church and loved being a part of the Lady Bugs Bible Study group. She was an avid reader and shared this love with the members of her book club. She enjoyed playing cards and games with her family and friends. She liked to travel and was able to visit many parts of the world, including Hawaii, Australia, Japan, and several European countries. Judy is survived by her two loving daughters, Robin (John) Speer and Cindy (Wayne) Barton; her sister, Janice Scott, and sister-in-law, Sue Long; three grandchildren, Jensen Barton, Hayden Barton, and Emily Speer; one great grandchild, Carli Joann Speer, and many nieces and nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bob on July 6, 2015, her parents, and her brothers, James and Richard, and sisters, Norma and Shirley. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 am on August 29, 2020, at Chaparral Christian Church, 6451 E. Shea Blvd, Scottsdale, AZ 85254. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her name to your favorite charity.
