Juanita Velasquez

Juanita was born on November 6, 1936 in Robstown, TX to Hijinio Velasquez and Antonia Ramirez Velasquez both deceased. Her 5 brothers all deceased, Julian, Hijinio Jr., Federico, Andres, Carlos, along with 5 sisters Herlinda Sanchez ( deceased), Lupe Andrade ( deceased ), Juanita is survived by Teresa Vasquez, Lydia Lara and Antonia ( Toni ) Medina and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Juanita was loved by all her family and was our own special angel. Her laughter, singing, and special greeting word; Chula, will forver live in ourt hearts and memories that we will treasure forever. Rest in peace Juanita in the arms of our lord Jesus Christ. Forever grateful to all her caregivers and for Savior Hospice who took part in her care.

A visitation for Juanita will be held Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Greer-Wilson Chapel, 5921 West Thomas Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85033. Burial will be held right after at Glendale Memorial Park Cemetery, 7488 North 61st Ave at 11:30 am.
