Jodie was a wonderful example of perseverance as she was born with severe Cerebral Palsy making it so she couldn’t communicate or walk. This didn’t stop Jodie from being an example of Christlike love. She had a smile bigger than the sun and could light up any room with her smile.
Jodie, with loving help from her mother, overcame many of her obstacles and found ways to communicate. She learned to do many daily tasks by herself even when others said she couldn’t do it. Jodie focused on her ability, not her disability.
Jodie had a love for food but mostly for chocolate. She also loved to shop, color and could find humor in any situation. Her laugh was contagious and loud.
Jodie is preceded in death by her mother Barbara Smith. She is survived by her father Terry, her brother Kenny (Zhanna) and sisters Sandy (Aaron) and Traci (Rob).
Her graveside service will be held at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary on Saturday November 19, 2022 at 10:30. The address is 200 West Beardsley Road Phoenix, AZ 85027.
