Peoria – Jean P. "Blue" Williams, 90, passed away on October 10th. Martha Jean Putman was born in 1927 in Oklahoma City. She graduated from University of Oklahoma with a BS in Home Economics on June 5th, 1950. She married James S. Francis on June 14, 1950 and had three children, Jim, David and Gail. She was a very busy women appearing many times in the newspaper for her charitable events with Phoenix Cotton Wives and Delta Gamma. She was President of the Phoenix Cotton Wives from 1963 to 1964. After divorcing Jack, she went to work at Saks Fifth Avenue where she worked for many years while raising her children. Jean was often asked to model for Delta Gamma, Saks or other clothing stores. She married Livy H Williams after a long courtship on January 16th 1982. Shortly after, they moved to Westbrook Village to enjoy their retired lifestyle. After Livy’s death, she enjoyed going to dances, line dancing and having lunch with the girls. Jean will be missed dearly by her children, grandchildren and great grandson. Jean is survived by her children; Gail Osterman, Jim Francis and David Francis; grandchildren, Jimmy Francis, Drew Francis, Jodie Francis, Matt Osterman, Daven Osterman, Kyle Osterman; great grandson, Lincoln. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday December 1st at 12:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Arizona Humane Society or Seasons Hospice. Arrangements entrusted to A.L.
