87, went to be with the Lord August 5, 2010. He is predeceased by his first wife, Rhea, 5 brothers and 1 sister. Survived by his second wife Joanne Norris; daughter, Jane Beth Franklin and son, James Gordon Norris; two grandchildren, Amy Beth Franklin and James Geoffrey Norris; one brother, Fred Norris. He served in the United States Army in the 11th Armoured Division during WWII in the European Theatre and worked as an Inspector for Reynolds Metals for 31 years. Visitation will be Thursday, August 12, 2010 from 6-7 with services starting at 7:00 PM at A. L. Moore Grimshaw 710 W. Bethany Home Road.
