James Allyn Montgomery

James Allyn Montgomery, 38 passed away unexpectedly on June 20, 2017. He was born to Betty and James Montgomery Sr. on July 27, 1978 in Phoenix. The youngest of five children and the only son, James was the delight of his parents and sisters.

As an adult, he moved to Sacramento for work and to raise a family. Hos son JD Montgomery, was born in Sacramento on July 1, 2002. Father and son forged an unbreakable bond, and James could have no conversation without proclaiming his pride in JD. James eventually returned to Phoenix where he has lived until his death.

He is survived by James Montgomery Sr. his son JD Montgomery and his four sisters, Debra, Tammy, Kimberly and Sherry. In addition, he is survived by nieces, nephews, three brothers in law and extended family and friends.

The family believes that it is fitting that James be laid to rest next to his mother who preceded him in death by twelve years. James received Christ and was baptized as a young man, so his hope and trust was in Jesus.

A private burial has been held.
