Jim was born April 16,1942 in Reading, PA to Ernest J. and Ruth (Eyster) Dellaripa. He was raised in Philadelphia, PA. He graduated Pennsylvania State University, with a BS in Industrial
Engineering and an MBA in Finance in 1966. He was a member of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Ruth, his brothers, Ernest Dellaripa and
William, Walter and Daniel Dick.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Marilyn Snyder Dellaripa. Marilyn and Jim enjoyed golf, tennis,
skiing and travel. He is a past member of the Knollwood Club in Lake Forest, II and Desert Mountain Club
in Scottsdale, AZ.
Surviving Jim are his two children. Dr. James S. Dellaripa and wife Ginger of Scottsdale and Cloy
Dellaripa and husband Dr. Kenneth O' Beirne of Prescott, AZ. He took great joy in his seven
grandchildren, Bodhi Schaublin-Locke, Amelia, Evelyn, Fiona and Caleb Dellaripa and Eliza and Daniel
O'Beirne.
After many years of corporate life, Jim owned and operated GNWC, a wire and cable company out of
Illinois and AZ. In retirement he established from the ground up a landscape company, AZ Wild Desert
Landscape, which he owned and operated for 15 years.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Christ Church of the Valley, Scottsdale Campus, 19030 N. Pima Rd. in
Scottsdale, Monday, January 17, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with a brunch to follow. In lieu of flowers consider a
donation to Christ Church of the Valley Scottsdale for the Children's Ministry or a charity of your choice
