Jack Dee Wilmoth, age 88, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021. Jack Wilmoth was born in West Virginia in 1933 to parents Matthew and Rebecca (Pearl) Wilmoth. He grew up in the coal mining villages around West Virginia with his 5 brothers and 1 sister and then moved his family and his parents to Arizona in the 1950’s. There he met his second wife, Judy, and they were married in 1961. Jack was proud of his career with Chevron Oil of over 50 years. Jack loved sports and had season tickets to the Arizona State Sun Devils and Phoenix Cardinals for many years. After retirement he and Judy enjoyed playing golf and traveling until her death in 2011. Jack will always be remembered as kind, gentle, loving, funny and an honest man of integrity. He passed away on December 21st in Sedona, AZ after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Byron, Charles (Bub), Matthew Jr. (Don), Ernie, his sister Carol, and his wife Judy. He is survived by his brother, Jim Wilmoth (Sue), sons Danny Wilmoth (Mary), Craig Wilmoth, Joel Wilmoth (Misty) and daughters Jackie Kim Leon (Steve), Tina Trout, and Jennifer Mast (Fred), 15 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews – all who loved him dearly.
