George Michael Schoen was born on March 27, 1949 in Los Angeles, California and went to be in his heavenly home on March 19, 2019. He attended Cortez High School in Phoenix and received two masters from Arizona State University. George was united in marriage to Mary Ann Shadow on September 29, 1983 in Mesa, Arizona at her parents’ home.
George enjoyed reading and he and Bradley enjoyed reading the Harry Potter book series together. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Schoen, children Bradley Schoen and Amber Sims; three grandchildren Caelan, Rowyn and Darby Sims; siblings Susan Peters, Jeannette Field, Joseph Schoen, Catherine Schoen and Charles Schoen as well as many nieces and nephews.
George is preceded in death by his parents; James and Elinore Schoen and one brother, Thomas Schoen.
