Frances A Jasinski

Our beloved Frances passed away peacefully on November 8, 2015. Born in Phoenix, AZ, she moved with her family to Los Angeles, CA, at the age of three. Frances graduated from the University of Southern California in 1941, where she was President of Kappa Delta Sorority and met her first husband, Donald E. Ackermann. Don passed away in 1977. Frances worked in banking and was a branch manager for Coast Federal Savings and Loan when she retired. During her time in Sun City, CA, Frances was an active member of Soroptimist International of Sun City, and PEO.

Frances married the love of her life, Ben Jasinski, in 2006. They met volunteering at Menifee Valley Medical Center where Frances received the Outstanding Volunteer Leadership Award in 2003. When Ben passed away in March 2012, Frances returned Phoenix to live with her daughter and son-in-law. In 2013, she moved to the Beatitudes Campus. Frances is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Tom Menaugh, and Janet and Ken Davidson, three grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren, two nephews and their families. Fran's last words were "I love you."

A memorial was held on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at A.L. Moore-Grimshaw Mortuary, in Phoenix, AZ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E Flower St, Phoenix AZ 85014 or the Resident Council Fund for Employee Appreciation c/o Beatitudes Campus, 1610 W Glendale Ave, Phoenix AZ 85021.
