Lopez, Federico Sr. of Phoenix, Arizona went to be with our Lord and Savior at the age of 75 on Wednesday, August 24, 2016. He left in peace and in the presence of his loving family. Fred was born in Eagle Pass, Texas and served proudly as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army where he was a paratrooper with the 101st Airborne. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Margaret, his sister Maria, his six children, Roseann, Greg, Federico Jr., Gabriel, Julie, and Yolanda, 25 grandchildren, and 29 great grandchildren. Fred was a strong, proud family man and a loving husband, brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle. He will be missed immensely by all those who loved and cared for him. A Visitation will be held at Greer Wilson 5921 W. Thomas Rd., Phx., AZ, Monday, Aug. 29 from 6 pm – 9 pm and a Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, Aug. 30 at 9 am at St. Matthews, 320 N 20th Dr., Phx., AZ 85009. Interment will follow at St. Francis Catholic Church 2033 N. 48th St., Phoenix, AZ 85008.
