Elizabeth Marie (Roy) Fry, 95, of Phoenix, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on January 6, 2019. Beth, as all her friends and family called her, was born in Fayette City, PA on October 25, 1923. She worked as a phone operator for the phone company in Pittsburgh and Cleveland. She moved to Phoenix in 1957 with her husband and children where she eventually worked for Smitty’s Grocery store, Diamonds, and Dillard’s. Beth was known to family and friends as a loving mother, wife and friend and someone who will truly be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband Harvey (Quentin) of 68 years, son Gary (Denise), daughters Nancy Collison, and Sharon Bickford (David). Beth had 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. There will be a short service (no viewing) at Trinity United Methodist Church 3104 W. Glendale Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85051, on January 19 at 11am.
