Elizabeth (Libby) Belle Hearne was born in Montgomery, Alabama on February 22, 1915. She passed away in Sun City, Arizona on September 22, 2023 at 108 years and 7 months old. She is survived by her 3 sons, Thomas (Maria) Hearne, Charles Hearne, & Brady (Peggy) Hearne; her grandchildren, Cindy (William) Storr, Michael (Leilani) Hearne, Diana Franco, Carlos Franco, & Kathie Hill, and several great -grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren. She had a special relationship with her great-great-grandson, Ethan William Storr-Farr. She will also be missed by family in Alabama (especially her niece Fay Lawhon & great-nephew, Larry Lawhon). She will be remembered by many others who called her Grandma. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Fred Patrick in 1989, and her grandsons Scott Hearne in 1999 and Steven Hearne in 2004.
A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church of Sun City 9849 N. 105th Avenue, Sun City, Arizona 85351 on Saturday, October 28th at 1 pm.
