Dolores C Neumann

The funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 22, 2016 at 11am at St, Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 3801 E. Greenway Rd, Phoenix, AZ. Burial will follow the funeral at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona at 12:30pm. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Shadow Mountain Mortuary.

Dolores was born in Queens, NY on February 15, 1926. Interested in drawing and encouraged by her parents, she started her career as a fashion illustrator for newspaper ads after graduating high school.

Dolores married Jack Neumann on November 4, 1950. They were married for 53 years and joyfully raised seven children in a home of love and laughter in Wantagh, NY.

Dolores enjoyed traveling, family and friends. After moving to Arizona in 1986, she resumed her love of art and took painting classes. She was actively involved in the Phoenix Artists Guild, the Paradise Valley Artist League and was a member of Critique Encounter XII.

Dolores is survived by her children Ginny Silver (Jim), John Neumann (Barbara) Christine Sanchez (Ron), Kathryn Peet (Ray), Stephen Neumann and Alice Narducci (Brian). She has 13 grandchildren and 2 great granddaughters. She is also survived by her loving sister Joan Graham (Edward) and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Dolores is preceded in death by her husband Jack, her son Richard Neumann, and her sister Carol Capone.
