Dawn Ann Wilson was born on August 25th, 1962 to Marvin Woodrow Simmons and Gerturde Ann Grittman of Phoenix, Arizona. On September 4th, 2021, Dawn passed away peacefully in Flagstaff medical center. Dawn was Truly an amazing soul and was widely known as a free spirit. She touched the lives of anyone that was lucky enough to cross her path. Kindness was something that she had for everyone. She was always willing to lend a helping hand to someone in need, even if she didn't have much to give. She enjoyed spending time shopping or crafting with her daughter, Sierra Dawn Wilson, or laughing uncontrollably while listening to her son, Colt Woodrow Wilson, tell a joke or do any impression of one of her favorite actors. In 1987, Dawn met her soulmate, Jerry Leroy Wilson JR., She never would have pictured herself with a bull riding cowboy, but after a short six months, Jerry decided that she was the one and that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. On June 25th, 1988, They began their journey of a happy 12,129 Days or for short 33 years. Over those years, they experienced many ups and downs, but they knew they could get through anything as long as they had each other. Dawn loved spending time with her many fur babies, probably more than spending time with her actual human ones. She really was a real life disney princess, if she wasn't singing,she cared for the woodline creatures of her beautiful Williams home. When she wasn't outside, she could be found at the local sandwich shop, or the little chicken shop in town. She also adored spending quality time with her little brother, Marvin Lance Simmons. However her all time favorite thing was spending the holidays with all of her family. Dawn's life will be carried on by many Precious memories. Dawn is survived by her Amazing husband, Jerry JR., Her two astounding children, Colt Woodrow and Sierra Dawn. Her out of this world Son-in-law, Timothy Bergman. Her devoted father, Marvin and his lovely wife, Linda. Her loving Mother-in-law, Kathleen Wilson and Remarkable Father-in-law, Jerry Sr.. Miraculous brother, Marvin Lance. Jerry’s Three very supportive siblings, Kim,Tonya and Jeff. along with her very Talented nieces and nephews, Alissa Dawn, Sarah, Maggie, Justin, Rachel, Alexis, Holly, Brandon, Raychel and Ray V. In addition to all of these wonderful people, she leaves behind many close friends and family. She is accompanied in death by her sensational mother, Gerturde Ann. many missed Grandparents and countless loved ones.
