David Gary Barber

David was born on August 30, 1942 and graduated from Sunnyslope High School in 1960. He was actively involved in the Family Life Assembly of God and Maricopa Assembly of God churches, and really enjoyed hunting and fishing. He would always say “I love my girls” as all of his kids and grandkids are girls.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn M. Barber; father, Verdis D. Barber; sisters, Polly Skelton, Becky Minnick, Nita Redfoot and brothers, Sam Barber, Don Barber and Eldon Barber.

David is survived by his sister, Linda Ford; loving wife, Juanita Barber; daughters, Rhonda Koellen (John Koellen), Tammy Featherston (Doug Featherston), and Melody Ochsenknecht (Karl Ochsenknecht) as well as his granddaughters, Brianna Barnes, Crystal Koellen and Caitlin Koellen.

The family would like to thank Brookdale Arrowhead Ranch, Assisteo Health and Hospice of the Valley for their care and compassion they showed David in his final days.

A memorial service for David will be held Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Family Life Assembly of God, 5402 W Union Hills Dr, Glendale, AZ 85308.
