It saddens me to hear of Dan's passing, especially so soon after retirement. It was a pleasure knowing and working with him. I will remember his audit advice and funny stories every time I pass a Port of Entry or truck stop.

I was so sorry to hear of Dan's passing.  I'll miss his cheerful wave when we passed each other in the neighborhood.  He was his usual pleasant and friendly self just a few weeks ago at the Block Watch potluck. I'm glad we got to chat a bit then. He will be missed by all of us here.  Take care.  Kitty Collins

I worked with Dan at ADOT Audit & Analysis for over 20 years.  He was a great guy and a fine auditor.  Dan will be missed by all who had the good fortune to work with him.
                                                                     

To Dan's family--I'm very saddened to hear of Dan's passing. I worked with him at ADOT for a year. He was friendly and helpful from the beginning. He also had a great sense of humor.  He's one of those people who made the world a better place.  The world could use a lot more people like Dan Hom.  God bless all of you.

Don worked in the modular across from me (Procurement Office) and we came into work at the same time every morning,  we always said hello to one another.  A matter of fact we parked next to each other for years.  A very nice man, so polite.  I will always remember him and his white truck.  My prayers go out to you.

Danny -

You were the best if I was to have a big brother I would want him to be like you. You took care of everyone around you were a devoted son, brother and husband. I would not have made it with out you 30 years ago. I was proud to have known you. I will miss your speeches and wisdom.   

You will be missed by many, go in peace my friend.

I only worked with Dan for a few months at ADOT, but he left an impression on me that will last the rest of my life.  He was always personable, professional and quick witted.  His journey here has ended, but his next journey is just beginning.  My prayers are with everyone in his family, and I will miss him.  He was a unique and caring person.

Dear Penelope and family,
I first meet Dan in 2007 when I started with ADOT.  I worked with him on similar projects in audit and he taught me a lot.  He was a very cordial and funny guy and we shared many a story.  I remember him having us over to your home for a party after you finished the renovation, which came out so beautiful.  I was shocked to hear of his passing and will keep him and all of you in my prayers.  I am sure he will be missed.

I am sorry for your loss. I worked with Dan for a short time until he retired. I am an intern and learned a lot from him during the short time he was with me at ADOT. Although he is not with us in body, we will all see him when our Redeemer takes us home...I am hoping that will be sooner rather than later. This world is approaching the end times rapidly and I can feel and see it. We must show our light more and love our enemies more.

I just wanted to send my condolences for your loss.  I really enjoyed working with Dan, although I saw him mainly at staff meetings.  He is the main reason I started selling tamales at work and apprecitated making them for his family these last couple of years.  So grateful to have met his wife and hope she finds comfort with her family.  May he rest in peace.  Very grateful to have known and worked with him.
