77, of Phoenix, Arizona, died February 20, 2012, at his Phoenix home.
Mr. Robles was born August 23 1934, in Pirtleville, Arizona to Cruz M. Robles and Belen M. Gonzalez.
Cruz passed away peacefully at his home in Phoenix. Cruz valiantly fought cancer for the last 10 years of his life.
Although the end was clear that he passed a line of no return, his amusing and clever personality was always present.
Cruz worked for Southern Pacific Railroad for 34 years and had many accomplishments, rewards and responsibilities throughout his career.
Cruz accomplished anything he set his mind to do, no obstacle was ever too big to accomplish. Cruz always had positive momentum and even though he was always super busy with projects around his home, he always made time for his loved ones and was grateful for his blessings every day.
Cruz and his wife Petra, built their home with love and care and family and friends were always welcomed anytime with open arms and hopefully empty stomachs.
Cruz is survived by his wife of 38 years, 7 sisters, 13 children, 31 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Throughout his life, he touched our lives and souls and his presence in our life was a gift we will always be thankful for. We all love you very much and you will be dearly missed. Cruz touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity, and maintained his trademark sense of humor all the way to the end.
