Garner, Carolyn Louise (Brewer) 68 of Phoenix, Az. passed away on Nov. 19, 2015. Born Oct. 12, 1947 in Chicago, Ill to Loyd (deceased) and Helen (Wills) Brewer. The family moved to Phoenix when she was 10 months old. She attended Maryland and Catalina schools and graduated from Alhambra High in 1965 and Phoenix College in 1967. Married David J. Garner on Nov. 18, 1967. Worked for Motorola, Freescale, HVVI and Airborn Interconnect over the past 40 years. She was a very kind person who dearly loved her family and was loved by many in return, loved traveling and bravely faced cancer twice. Her hobbies were making and collecting dolls and teddy bears. She was preceded by oldest daughter Carrie Lynn Garner-Vara(46) just 2 weeks prior on Nov. 5 2015. Survived by mother Helen Brewer, daughter Amy Jo Garner, grandsons Christopher Vara (Tia), Kevin Wink (Jenn), Ryan Breen (Michelle), and Craig Scott, 2 great-grandsons Landon and Wyatt Vara, 2 younger sisters Camille Worcester (Jim) and Cheryl Brock (Rus). A Visitation will be held 11:00am, Sunday, November 29, 2015 in the Chapel at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary, 719 N. 27th Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona 85009 with Funeral Services beginning at 12:00noon. Interment will follow at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery.
