Carole Ann Robison Jeffries-Schwenn, 83, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away October 27, 2015. She was born in Indianapolis, IN, on February 18, 1932. Moving to Phoenix in 1954, she became a wife to Earl Jeffries and mother to Karen Jeffries. She also was a Girl Scout leader, an avid hiker, a talk show host, a financial advisor, a volunteer for the Phoenix Symphony, a politically involved Republican, and most of all, a faithful Christian. In the 1990’s, she married Donald Schwenn. They were together over 15 years when he passed away in 2009. Later, at the age of 72, she found herself in a new role as a warrior in the battle against multiple cancers. Her weapons were chemotherapy, guided imagery, prayer and hope. She fought the good fight for 11 years. She is survived by millions of cancer warriors who have been, and will be, victorious in their battles. Carole Ann, we will miss your kindness, laughter, love, and endless energy. Come celebrate Carole’s life at the Beatitudes Everett Luther Life Center, 1610 W Glendale Ave, Phx, AZ. In lieu of flowers, donations to cancer research would be greatly appreciated. Tributes and condolences can be sent to www.ALMoore-Grimshaw.com.
