Carol Louise Moseley passed away in Phoenix, AZ due to complications related to long term health issues and Alzheimer’s disease on 10/15/2021. Carol was born in Dillon, MT to Sigfred and Lillian Johnson on 10/01/1939, where she and her brother were raised on a cattle ranch. In 1948, her family moved to Anchorage, AK when it was still a territory. In 1958 she graduated from Anchorage High School, married her high school sweetheart and became a homemaker. They welcomed their first daughter, Stephanie, in 1959 and welcomed a second daughter, Jaime, in 1972. An avid animal lover her whole life the family had dogs, cats, birds, rabbits and even a spider monkey. She lived a full life in Alaska and enjoyed what it had to offer; including skiing, cabins, boats, float planes, and motorhoming. In 1983 as a 25th wedding anniversary present, they were gifted a vacation to Phoenix, AZ. At that time, they bought property and she lived in Phoenix the remainder of her life. There, she embraced an Arizona lifestyle; horseback riding, gardening, hiking and was a patron of arts and entertainment. A great conversationalist, she loved books, music and art. She is survived by her daughters Stephanie Moseley and Jaime Inman, son-in-law Scott Inman, nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Humane Society of the United States.
