Carmela Miller, age 89, of Sun City, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2017 in Peoria, Arizona. She was born on October 7, 1927 to the late John & Grace Grandinetti. On August 3, 1947 she married Harold W. Miller in New York. Carmela is survived by her two loving children, Joanne (Al) Krpata & John (Cecily) Miller; 6 grandchildren, Sharon Stropka, Michael Krpata, Teresa Pilatowicz, David Krpata, Devon Miller, and Logan Miller; 9 great grandchildren; and many other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold W. Miller in 2001. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with the rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 E. Greenway Road, Phoenix, AZ 85022. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 22, 2017, at the St Paul’s Catholic Church, 330 W. Coral Gables Drive, Phoenix, AZ 85023 with burial to follow at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
