Auburn Michelle Velasquez 22, of Phoenix, Arizona was taken too soon on August 19 as a result of an automobile accident early Friday morning after leaving the birth of her nephew, Abel. She was surrounded by family when she took her last breath and went to be with Kim.

Auburn was born March 17, 1994. She was a graduate of Thunderbird High School, Class of 2012. She was an aspiring cosmetologist and makeup artist. Auburn had the biggest heart, and would give the shirt off her back to you if needed. She loved her animals and leaves behind her beautiful dog Indica. She also had an immense passion and love for her

trees.

Auburn was preceded in death by her Best-friend and Soul-sister, Kimberlee Flores, Father, Mario Velasquez, Grandfather, Anthony Murray and Grandmother, Rosalie Amhuada.

Auburn was a loving soulmate to Jose Alvarez as well as a loving mother to her 1year old son, Carter Joel Alvarez and stepmother to her 6year old, Alexis (Cheeky) Alvarez. Carter was the most pre-cious gift to Auburn and she treasured him each and every day. She lived her life for him and she showed him so much love in the little amount of time she had with him on earth, enough to last him a lifetime. Her love for Carter was unconditional, he was her world, her everything. She is survived by her parents Marcie Murray-Covarrubio, Julian Covarrubio and Suzette Josephson along with 11 brothers and sisters, Ashley, Angelo, Gabriella, Nathanyal, Jayla, Dominic, Izabella, Sean, Josh, Saige and Levi. Auburn had many other family members including aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents. A visitation will be held from 10:00AM-12:00PM, Thursday, September 1st at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350, E. Greenway Rd. A funeral service will start at 12:00PM. Following the funeral, interment will be at Paradise Memorial Gardens, 9300 E. Shea Blvd.
