Anthony attended Sierra Vista grade school and graduated from South Mountain High School. Upon graduation Anthony explored many avenues in his young adulthood. During his journey he became a father to 5 sons named Dontel Coleman, Anthony Coleman Jr., Antwone Coleman, Arkeem Coleman and Armonie Coleman, whom he loved dearly.
In his later years he met the love of his life of 13 years, Judy K. Reynolds. Judy stood by his side through thick and thin. They joined together in holy matrimony on August 4, 2023.
Anthony was a cook for many years at a variety of places, including the American Legion Post #65. His latest employment was at District Photo where he maintained employment for 3 years.
Anthony had the personality and natural charisma to stand out in any room he stepped in. His laugh was infectious to everyone around him. He had a passion for cooking, especially grilling, dancing, and singing. He was the life of the party with his silly dance moves, poses, and memorable sayings such as “Iy Yi Yi” “Loddy Doddy” and “Oooo-Oooo” which will remain in the hearts of family and friends forever. Anyone who knows him, knows he can break down a story like no other, and have everybody laughing. Anthony was the glue and a light to his family, that loves him dearly. He was a great man whose impact will live on forever. His passing has left an unfillable gap in the hearts of his loved ones and his legacy will continue on.
Anthony was predeceased by a variety of family members who have passed away including his sister Sharon (Kay) Robinson. He is survived by his mother and father Betty Jean Sanders (Coleman) and Joe L. Coleman; wife, Judy K. Reynolds; sons, Dontel, Anthony Jr., Antwone, Arkeem and Armonie; Siblings, Joanne (Bo) Coleman, Trina (Bay) Coleman and Gregory (Charlie) Coleman, Allen (Al) Coleman, Hope Dadzie, and Jay Coleman; aunt(s) Betty Pearl Marie, uncle(s) Paul and Chester Coleman; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
