passed away on July 22, 2011 in Mesa, AZ at the age of 88. Anna was born in Paragould, Arkansas to William and Eula McCord who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband Jesse D. Locke; infant daughter Julia Ann; brothers Donald L. McCord, Thomas L. McCord and William R. McCord and son-in-law Harold White. Anna leaves to cherish her memory five daughters, Glenda (Richard) Bree, Brenda White, Linda (Clifton) Richey, Jessica Adams-Hartje (Doug) and Cinda (Carlos) Quintero; 16 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; sisters Betty L. Vanderark and Alice Nicholes; brother Jerry A. McCord along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held 8:00am to 10:00am, Thursday, July 28, 2011 at Living Word Bible Church, 3520 E. Brown Rd, Mesa, AZ 85213 with Funeral Services beginning at 10:00am. Interment will be private. The family of Anna M. Locke’s family was served by the staff of East Resthaven Park Mortuary and Cemetery, 4310 E. Southern Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85042 in preparing final arrangements.
