Susan Dianne Watson

Susan Dianne Watson, age 79, of Valley, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at East Alabama Medical Center. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. EDT in Lakewood Hall at Striffler-Hamby, 3770 US-431, Phenix City, Alabama. A Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. prior to the service. A Private Burial will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens.

Mrs. Watson was born September 2, 1944 in Columbus, Georgia; daughter of the late William and Mollie Hamric Orr. She was retired from self-employed office management and was Baptist by faith.

Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Christopher Watson and her brother, Billy Orr.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby Watson, Sr., sons, Bobby Watson, Jr. and wife, Terri, Roger Watson and wife Angel and daughter Robin Watson Faulk and husband, David. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Benjamin Watson, Adam Watson (Ashley), Shalee Bowden, Montana Faulk, Amanda Rodriguez (Elijah), Rusty Watson (Tiffany), Alyssa Horner (Jonathan), Brandon Watson (Katt) along with her great grandchildren, Gabriel, Hunter, AnnaLee, Cullen, Luke, Harper, Paisleigh, Braydon, Knox, Jayce, Christopher, Autumn, James and Isabella.

Mrs. Watson loved her grandchildren, loved animals, and her special dog, Sammi. She also enjoyed reading and could read six books a day.
