Sheila Gail Jones

A visitation for family and friends for Sheila will be held Wednesday, December 20, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Oswichee Baptist Church, Fort Mitchell, Alabama. A celebration of life funeral service will occur Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 12:30 PM, Fort Mitchell, Alabama. A burial will follow at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery, Fort Mitchell, Alabama.

She was born in Coffee County, Alabama; daughter of the late Tullis and Bonnie Kay Nolin.

Mrs. Jones was a homemaker and a very active member of Oswichee Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School Director and served in the choir. She loved working in her yard, loved flowers, watching her grandsons play ball, traveling and shopping. She mostly loved spending time with her family.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in by her daughter, Darrie Stephens and her grandson, Jeremy Stephens.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Raymond Lee Jones, daughter, Sharon Baker (Chad), son-in-law, Jimmy Stephens, son, Doyle Jones (Trena), son, Michael Jones and son, Duane Jones; sister, Nelta Yarbrough (Jimmie), grandchildren, Matthew Stephens (Amanda), Dylan Stephens, Chase Baker, Cody Baker, Austin, Taylor, Tessa and a great grandchild, Miah Stephens; niece, Shannon Slade (Mike) and their children, Isabelle, Gracie and Emma.
