Mary Lee (Sanders) Carden, age 87 of Phenix City, AL passed away on Monday, November 27, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born June 16, 1936 in Phenix City, AL, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Evelyn (Sasser) Sanders.
Mary retired from Sunshine Biscuits. She enjoyed planting flowers, watching and feeding the birds and would go fishing any chance she got. She loved the Lord, her family and her cats and dogs.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Mary (Troy) Davis from Dadeville, AL, Thomas (Jennifer) Stewart from Phenix City, AL; her great-grandchildren, Amanda, Rodney, Samantha, Alexus, and Caleb; and her 5 great-great grandchildren. Mary was also preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Carden; her brother, Larry Sander; her daughter, Patricia Eubanks; her son, Tommy Nolin; and her granddaughter, Lisa Burford.
A Graveside Service will be held at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907 on Friday, December 1, 2023 at 3:00PM. Rev. Norman C. Garrison will be officiating the service.
