A celebration of life graveside memorial service for Lina will be held Monday, April 21, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Fort Mitchell National, 553 Highway 165, Fort Mitchell, AL 36856.
Mrs. Yates was born November 15, 1931 in Randolph County, Alabama; daughter of the late Joe and Carra Smith Sheets. She is the owner and operator of Yates Income Tax Service in Smiths Station, Alabama for many years.
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Olen R. Yates and her sons, Terry Yates and Barry Yates.
Survivors include her devoted daughter Donna Yates and husband, Greg Heinrich, grandson, Grayson Yates, and many nieces and nephews whom she loved very much and all of her clients throughout the years whom she considered family along with friends in the community that she cared very deeply for.
