Dorothy Louise Shelley

Dorothy Louise Shelley, 90 of Phenix City, AL passed away Friday, July 10, 2020 at her home. She was born April 5, 1930 in Henry County, Alabama, daughter of the late Willie and Mary Warren Robinson. She was a member of Mt. Moriah Primitive Baptist Church in Columbus, Georgia and worked many years alongside her son at Rainbow Foods in Phenix City.

Survivors include her sons, William Larry Shelley and wife, Cheri; Marvous Lynn Shelley and wife, Diann, both of Phenix City, AL; one daughter, Mattie Louise Clark and husband, Jere, of Phenix City, AL; 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.

In keeping with efforts to assure the safety and health of our community during the current virus pandemic, the family will hold a private service at Striffler-Hamby in Phenix City with burial at Lakeview Memory Gardens. A private visitation for the family will be held Monday evening at the funeral home.

Flowers are accepted or the family requests contributions be made to Columbus Hospice in Mrs. Shelley's memory.
