Con gran dolor compartimos el fallecimiento de Gloria S. Cardoza. Nació el 16 de abril de 1949 de sus padres Rafael(+) y María Guadalupe Sánchez(+) y entró en el descanso eterno el domingo 24 de octubre de 2021.
Se casó con el amor de su vida, José Rodolfo Cardoza, y juntos fueron bendecidos y celebraron 45 aniversarios de bodas. Ella era una esposa maravillosa. Siempre la tendrá en su corazón, y ella es la mujer que más ama. Ella siempre lo cuidó como lo cuidó su madre. Ella es la mujer que él amará por siempre hasta el día de su muerte. Ella es y será siempre el amor de su vida. Sus 2 mayores amores fueron su madre y su esposa junto con sus 4 hijas. Ella es y siempre será "Su Linda Esposa
Gloria fue admirada por su belleza por dentro y por fuera, alma amorosa y generosa. Fue la matriarca de la familia que enseñó a sus hijas a vivir con amor, integridad, unidad y fe. Era una católica devota y dejó todo a la voluntad de Dios. Ella era una amada esposa, madre, suegra, abuela, tía y amiga.
Como pilar de la familia, a Gloria le encantaba pasar su tiempo con ellos. Sus intereses también incluían ir de compras y cocinar y eran conocidos por su delicioso mole y suculentas comidas caseras.
En pocas palabras, Gloria era una persona cariñosa y amorosa, una persona que será recordada por su familia y amigos como extrovertida y dedicada, alguien que fue parte vital de sus vidas. Gloria seguirá brillando en los corazones de su familia y amigos mientras deja tras de sí un legado de amistades de por vida y muchos recuerdos preciados.
Ahora saben por qué ella siempre les dijo que fueran fuertes. Sabía que algún día necesitarían la fuerza para soportar su pérdida, pero ella permanecerá en cada latido, en cada lágrima y en cada aliento.
La extrañaremos mucho, pero siempre recordarán lo afortunados que fueron y bendecidos de tenerla como madre

It is with great sorrow that we share the passing of Gloria S. Cardoza. She was born on April 16, 1949, to the late Rafael and Maria Guadalupe Sanchez and entered eternal rest on Sunday, October 24, 2021.
She married the love of her life, Jose Rodolfo Cardoza, and together they were blessed to celebrate 45 wedding anniversaries. She was a wonderful wife. He will always have her in his heart, and she is the woman that he most loves. She always took care of him the way his mother took care of him. She is the woman that he will love forever until the day he dies. She is and will always be the love of his life. His 2 greatest loves were his mother and his wife along with his 4 daughters. She is and will always be "Su Linda Esposa"
Gloria was admired for her beauty inside and out, loving soul, and generosity. She was the matriarch of the family who taught her daughters to live with love, integrity, unity, and faith. She was a devoted Catholic and left everything to God’s will. She was a beloved wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, aunt, and friend.
As the pillar of the family, Gloria loved to spend her time with them. Her interests also included shopping and cooking and were known for her delicious mole and succulent home-cooked meals.
Simply stated, Gloria was a caring and loving person, an individual who will be remembered by her family and friends as outgoing and devoted-someone who was a vital part of their lives. Gloria will continue to shine in the hearts of her family and friends as she leaves behind her a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories.
Now, they know why she always told them to be strong. She knew that one day, they would need the strength to bear her loss, but she will remain in every heartbeat, in every tear, and in every breath.
She will be missed dearly, but they will always remember how fortunate they were and blessed to have her as their mother.
A visitation for Gloria will be held Friday, October 29, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary being recited at 7:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr. Visitation for Gloria will continue on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 9:00 AM. A catholic mass / misa catolica will occur Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Hidalgo, Texas with her burial scheduled to follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr at 3:00 PM.
