Mrs. Anderson was born on August 30, 1942 in Gettysburg, PA to Roy and Mary Biesecker. In addition to her decades of missionary service in Ecuador and the Rio Grande Valley, Carol will be remembered for the joy and delight she shared with her friends and family over board games, home-cooked meals, and Wheel of Fortune. She is preceded in death by her parents; her sister Gloria Clark (Richard); her brother Robert Biesecker; and her nephew, Mark Clark. Carol is survived by her husband, Keith B. Anderson; her daughters, Mary Meiser (Andy) and Melanie Morales (Samuel); four grandsons, Scotty Meiser (Julie), Caleb Morales (Bianca), Alex Meiser, and LeShawn Meiser; and four granddaughters, Valarie Meiser, Lydia Morales, Alyssa Morales, and Allyson Meiser. Her first great-grandchild is due to be born this December to Scotty and Julie Meiser.
Visitation for Carol will be held Wednesday, August 21, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Valley Community Church, 3801 N 2nd Street, McAllen, Texas 78501, with a funeral service at 7:00 PM.
Visitation will continue on Thursday, August 22, 2024 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley, 4607 North Sugar Road, Pharr, Texas 78577, with a religious ceremony at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens, 4607 N. Sugar Rd, Pharr, Texas 78577.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Valley Community Church and Del Angel Funeral Home Palm Valley in Pharr.
