Belinda Zavala

Belinda Zavala, 71, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on October 19, 1953, Belinda was a warm and vibrant soul who touched the lives of all who knew her.

Belinda had a deep love for spending time with her family, whether it was over breakfast conversations filled with laughter and fellowship or during outdoor adventures that reflected her joyful spirit. She found beauty in everything and embraced life with a sense of wonder and gratitude. Her kind heart, welcoming presence, and zest for life will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is preceded in death by her husband Alfonso Zavala, parents Maria Molina and Adolfo Ed Molina, Jr., brothers Juan Chavez and Adolfo "Eddie" Molina, and grandson Kristopher Saenz. Belinda is survived by her children Melissa (Terry) Smith, Paul (Pamela) Saenz, and Tamara (Mike) Garcia, grandchildren Brandi (Alex) Gonzalez, Kristen Saenz, Nikolas Saenz, Regan Smith, Weldon Smith, Sean Smith, Mikey Garcia, Jacob Garcia, great grandchildren Austin Gonzalez, Every Gonzalez, Zachary Gonzalez, and Emma Saenz, siblings Dora Love, Minerva Norbruy, Armando (Sally) Molina, and Nora (Jesse) Martinez.

Visitation will begin Monday, December 9, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr, Texas. Funeral service will begin Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr, Texas with interment to follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr, Texas.

Belinda’s legacy of love, warmth, and joy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
