disease. Teri was born in Roslyn, Long Island, New York on April 1, 1956.
After New York, the family moved to Illinois, Houston and finally settled in Midland, TX. In the 1980s, she moved to the Austin area where she and her husband Fred Manry raised their daughter, Christina.Teri had a long career in the dental field, making many friends along the way. Her varied
interests and loves included following the Nebraska Cornhuskers football team, going to craft
shows, photography, road tripping across the country and attending family reunions in Estes
Park, CO. She so loved those beautiful mountains. Her Catholic faith and giving spirit were ever present as she gave friendship to many and selfless helping hands when she saw the need. Numerous weekends found her on the road to San Antonio to bring some sunshine into the lives of her aging parents.
Teri was preceded in death by her parents, Maxine and Loren Toohey, her grandparents and
several aunts and uncles. She is survived by her daughter Christina; sisters Sandy, Carol and
Loreen (Bob); her aunt Mary Jo; nephew Sean and his wife Merri Jo and son Zach; her niece
Wendy and her husband Cary and their son Gage; her sister-in-law Margaret and her husband
James and their son Matthew; and Prissy, her dearly loved adopted cat.
A memorial service will be held in her honor on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 10:00 am at St. Elizabeth in
Pflugerville, TX.
