There was a quiet moment of sorrow on October 23 with the passing of Sue Gorrell, age 67. For years she stood strong and fought courageously against the auto-immune disorder, Scleroderma. Her lifelong partner, Fraser, was at her side for over 49 years to celebrate life and cherish her love during the best of times and provide caring and compassionate support during the worst of times. Their devotion to each other will not be forgotten as her light and love forever shines through Fraser's life.
Suzanne was born and raised in Saint Clair Shores, Michigan before moving to the Austin area where she spent most of her life enjoying the hot Texas sun. Her warm spirit and excitement for a new adventure will be missed by the many people at the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce, Tarry House Country Club, and her gourmet groups. Her love of life, love of family, and any excuse for a party, especially with her sisters, will never be forgotten. May God provide her rest and warmth.
