Steven James Nichols

Steven James Nichols of Austin, Texas passed away on June 4, 2013 unexpectantly. He was born on April 2, 1962 in Cleveland, Ohio, son of Steve and Mary Nichols. He was preceded in death by his wife, Angela Jeanette Nichols, his infant son Steven Austin Nichols and his mother Mary A. Nichols.

He was a Godly man who loved beyond expectations. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone or anything in need. He was the strongest, most loving, caring, inspirational person we have ever known.

Steven is survived by his father Steve S. Nichols of Mesa, Arizona; his fiancé Steffanie Renee Powell of Austin, Texas; his 2 beautiful daughters Brittany Marie Nichols and Stephany Jean Nichols of Austin; his sister Julie Mary (Nichols) Baarstad (Roderick G. Baarstad, Jr.) of Mesa; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Steven’s honor to SIDS Foundation and American Humane Society.

A visitation will be held on Friday, June 7, 2013 at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Trisagion service will begin at 6:00 pm.

The Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home Memorial Chapel beginning at 10:00 am.
